About Dave

Dave A. Jennings, PhD, is an expert on leadership and leading change. He creates an engaging conversational atmosphere that sparks participants' desire to make a difference. He stimulates people to think in new ways, laugh at their situation (and themselves), and - most importantly - take action when they return to work.

He is president of Business Acumen, Inc., a leadership development and consulting firm specializing in change resilience, leadership, and communications. He has worked with such leading organizations as Microsoft, Deloitte & Touche, DuPont, Hewlett-Packard, Honda, Intel, Life Technologies, Mobil, Oracle, and Panasonic. Dave is the co-designer of the leading change process used globally by Microsoft.

He has 15 years of organizational development and consulting experience. At Hewlett-Packard's number one selling Inkjet Printer Division, Dave was an internal consultant who facilitated internal re-organizations and the management development process.

Dr. Jennings' expertise has been relied upon by such publications as Industry Week, Investors Business Daily, Sales & Marketing, and Future Magazine. He has published a variety of workbooks and articles on leadership and leading change.

His doctoral research is focused on change resilience. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership and Strategy of Brigham Young University. He is currently authoring a new book on accelerating leadership impact.
